8 September - Girish - Join this world famous musician to chant mantra and sing about a deity of his choice!

This is a chance to gather and learn about different traditions and archetypes through storytelling, music, mantra, and more. This is our last live session, but when you register, you have access to the recordings of previous sessions!

Learn about the Christian Mystics that have been lost from the canon, Hindu deities that inspire mantra, astrological figures dancing across the sky, as well as the wisdom of archetypal women in this 1/2 year study. 

You can expect a teaching, a meditation, and some sort of interactive experience each session.

Mantra to Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva is an important deity in the path of Yoga. He represents completion and tranquility This Feb, Manorama will guide you in a Shiva Mantra, Meditation and will speak about how to bring Lord Shiva into your Yogic Practice. Manorama guides student in Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy and Meditation. Based out of NYC, she is the founder of the Sanskrit Studies Method and the Luminous Soul Method.

Lord Shiva the Auspicious One

This 75 minute course will unpack the iconology and mythology around Shiva, which means “Auspicious One,” in Sanskrit. Shiva stories convey profound yogic wisdom with a uniquely enchanting style imparting knowledge and tradition at the same time. Shiva is revered as one of the main deities of Hinduism and is represented in a variety of forms. The god, about whom stories abound, is the force of completion and disillusionment. This course will include 30 minutes of instruction around the stories of Shiva and his many attributes. Followed by 30 minutes of meditation. Finally the session will end with 15 minutes of group sharing.

Morrigan The Shape Shifter

We will learn about Morrigan. Morrigan is a gifted shape shifter, feared and beloved in Celtic Mythology, well known for her alliance with crows and ravens. Learning about this mythical queen, traditionally prayed to for bravery in battle, opens our eyes to multi faceted ways of showing up in the world. More Wicked Witch than Glinda, Morrigan stories are sometimes scary and ALWAYS juicy and powerful.
